Baby Time! * Drop In (Ages birth - 15 months)
A lapsit for our littlest patrons is back! Join us for songs, fingerplays, stories, and whatever else we can fit into our 20 minute session designed specifically for babies 15 months and younger. This program will take place in the Chase Room. In the event the Chase Room in unavailable, we will meet in the Picture Book room. There is no registration required to attend!
Rhyme Time * Registration Required (Ages 16 months - 3 years)
Stories, songs, music and rhymes! Join us for an action packed storytime session best suited for children ages 16 months to three years.This program will take place in the Chase Room. If the Chase Room is unavailable, we will meet in the library!
Pokémon Club *Drop In* (Ages 6-12)
Interested in all things Pokémon? Join our brand new Pokémon Club! This one hour open session will offer several ways to engage with everyone's favorite pocket monsters, from art to trivia and even an opportunity to play Pokémon TCG! Bringing your own card collection is allowed though not necessary. No registration is required, just drop in!Please note, per our unattended children policy, that caregivers of children under 8 years of age must attend for the duration of the program.
Handwriting Helpers * Registration Required (Ages 5 and up)
Research has proven that there is a positive correlation between proper handwriting skills and increased academic performance in reading, math and writing. Learn correct posture, pencil gripping, and formations of printing both letters of the alphabet as well as numbers.All of this and more will be taught over four one-hour sessions, taking place on April 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th. Please make sure you can attend all four sessions before registering. Priority will be given to Madison residents.Please note, per our unattended children policy, that caregivers of children ages 10 years and under must remain on library property for the duration of the program.

Research-based handwriting instruction designed to help children develop proper letter formation, fine motor skills, and pre-writing skills.
STEM: Slime Workshop *Drop-In* (Ages 7 and up)
Stop by the Chase Room for some STEM fun! We will have all of the ingredients to make your own slime, with some mix-ins available and a couple different texture options. You can come anytime between 4 - 5pm, but come earlier if you want first pick!Please note, per our unattended children policy, that caregivers of children ages 10 years and under must remain on library property for the duration of the program.
Peace Play Storytime Yoga * Registration Required (Ages 2-5)
In these engaging classes, the books we read come to life as we slither like snakes, hop like frogs and bark like dogs. Through songs and stories we bend, stretch, breathe and move while having fun learning yoga poses.This class will take place at the library in the Picture Book Room! Please register each participant separately.
Friday's Fact Finder Maps (Ages 5-8) *Registration Required
National Read a Road Map is April 5th. Let's learn about maps and create one of your own. Please note, per our unattended children policy, caregivers of children under 8 years of age must attend for the duration of the program. This program will take place in the Chase Room. Play Time *Drop In* (Ages 5 and Under)
Did you know that playing serves an important role in developing early literacy skills? Playing builds imagination as well as develops the same part of the brain used while reading. During Play Time, we will have extra toys out in our play area to encourage free play and socialization for both littles and their guardians.This program will take place in the library! No registration is required to attend.

E-Bike Informational Session * Drop In (Ages 10-14 with parent or caregiver)
Have you heard about the major changes to e-bike laws in New Jersey? Come learn about them, connect with local police, and share your ideas and concerns with staff from Project Community Pride! Representatives from the Madison Police Department and Project Community Pride will be available to provide information and answer questions.This is a drop in program and will meet in the Chase Room. No registration is required. Parents and 5th-8th graders are encouraged to attend!

Friday Fun With Miss Carol! *Registration Required* (Ages 2-5)
Move and groove with Miss Carol! Enjoy an action packed 45 minutes of music, dancing, songs, and stories! This class will take place in the Chase Room! We accept registration from anywhere, but should the class fill, Madison cardholders will recieve priority. Please register each child individually.
STEM with Jen! *Registration Required* (Ages 7-11)
Come join us for a fun STEM activity in the Chase Room! Best suited for ages 7-11 years old. We will be assembling a balloon car this month, so make sure you can blow up a balloon before joining us.Registration is required.Please note, per our unattended children policy, that caregivers of children ages 10 years and under must remain on library property for the duration of the program.
Family Game Night *Drop-In* (All Ages)
Join us in the Chase Room for our first Family Game Night! Everyone is welcome for a night of meeting new people and playing fun games. We will have a variety of board games and card games, and you can sign up for a turn playing a Nintendo Switch game. We will provide snacks and drinks, so you only need to bring yourself and your game face!
