Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 18, 2026
Wildday ("we," "us," or "our") helps parents discover kid-friendly events and activities. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
What We Collect
- Account info — name and email from Google sign-in, used solely for authentication.
- Preferences — location, child ages, and notification settings you enter, used to personalize event recommendations.
- Phone number — if you opt in to SMS text updates, we store your phone number to send event notifications via Twilio.
- Usage data — basic analytics (page views, feature usage) collected via PostHog to help us improve the product.
How We Use Your Data
We use your data only to provide and improve Wildday's features — showing you relevant events, sending text updates you requested, and fixing bugs. That's it.
No Sharing with Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Your data is only shared with service providers (Supabase for database hosting, Twilio for SMS delivery, Google for authentication) as needed to operate the service.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored in a Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS). We take reasonable precautions but cannot guarantee absolute security.
SMS Text Updates
If you opt in to SMS notifications, we send event recommendations to your phone number at the frequency you choose. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message or updating your settings in the app. Message and data rates may apply.
